A little over a week after the debut of Castlevania: Nocturne, Netflix has announced that it will continue the story of Richter Belmont with a second season of the animated series.
“Thanks to all of the Castlevania fans old and new for the amazing response and support,” said showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde. “We are excited to be able to bring you more Castlevania: Nocturne and the next chapter in the rise of Richter Belmont.”
Picking up 300 years after the original Castlevania animated series, itself based upon the classic Konami video game franchise, Nocturne is produced by Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation, who will return for the second season, as will directors Sam Deats and Adam Deats.
Castlevania: Nocturne is streaming now on Netflix.
