HBO has shared the first trailer for The Regime, a new political satire series from writer and showrunner Will Tracy (The Menu) and directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen) and Jessica Hobbs (The Crown).
Taking place within the palace of a modern European authoritarian regime over the course of a year, the six-episode series sees Oscar-winner Kate Winslet starring alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Guillaume Gallienne, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, and Hugh Grant. Watch the trailer here…
The Regime will premiere on Max in the US on March 3rd and is also set to air on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK at an as-yet-unspecified date.
