Vampire Therapist coming to Steam this June

January 24, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer Little Bat Games has announced they will be releasing their debut title, Vampire Therapist, on Steam on 17th June.  This upcoming title will combine real-life therapy techniques with a vampire storyline across several millennia.  Watch the new trailer below…

Have you ever wondered about the psyche of a vampire? Well, the developers at Little Bat Games have and will be bringing a beautiful looking title that allows players to examine and deconstruct the psyches of vampires from different historical periods. Who would think that being a vampire and feeding on blood would carry such emotional baggage.

In Vampire Therapist players meet former cowboy and current vampire Sam who is struggling to find meaning in his immortal life. Fortunately, help is at hand thanks to the 3000 year old therapist (and former warrior/assassin) Andromachos, who is able to guide Sam in the right direction.

Turns out that Sam is not alone in his need for help as there are plenty more vamps with their own problems. There are vampires from different eras with a range of problems from agoraphobia to narcissism all needing the player’s help.

“Vampire Therapist springs from a belief that humanity could have always benefited from therapy. By providing a playfully dark, yet cosy experience, we hope to demystify therapy and show how it can be helpful to anyone, no matter how old they are” said Cyrus Nemati, Creative Director of Little Bat Games.

Keep an eye out for therapy seeking vampires this June on Steam.
