Katy O’Brian confirms “chaotic” nature of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania production

March 10, 2024 by EJ Moreno

If you saw Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, you can obviously see how messy it was to create and to watch, and we now have confirmation from one of the film’s stars, Katy O’Brian, that it was precisely as rough to shoot as it seemed.

While promoting her new film Love Lies Bleeding, O’Brian confirmed to EW last week that Quantumania was as messy as expected.

The actress gave some insight into the hectic filming. She tells the outlet, “That was absolutely chaotic. I think we were getting new pages until the last day, and I think I was getting new fights the last day. I just show up, and they’re like, ‘Here’s a new fight.'”

If you aren’t aware, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania had issues with pandemic-related delays, release date shifts, a reduced post-production period, and then the arrest of Jonathan Majors. All of that, as well as the adverse reactions from fans and critics, led Marvel Studios to retool their production completely. Quantumania took home a box-office haul of only $476.1 million worldwide.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently streaming on Disney+. Meanwhile Katy O’Brian stars alongside Kristen Stewart in Love Lies Bleeding, which opens wide this coming week. Read our review here and check out the trailer below…
