Ke Huy Quan is sticking around and making some impressive moves; now, the Oscar-winning actor is joining 87North’s With Love.
Quan will star in the mysterious new project with actress Ariana DeBose. The actor is coming off his Academy Award-winning turn in Everything Everywhere All At Once and his critically praised work in Loki Season 2. Plot details are being kept under wraps.
DeBose is no slouch either, winning an Academy Award for her work in West Side Story and recently voicing the lead role in Disney’s Wish.
Acclaimed veteran stunt coordinator and fight coordinator Jonathan Eusebio will make his directorial debut. The script comes from Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore, and Matthew Murray. 87North’s Kelly McCormick and David Leitch will produce the project as well. Guy Danella is also producing for 87North.
Deadline reports, “After attaching Quan to the starring role, producers and studio execs wanted to ensure his co-star was perfect.” DeBose reportedly wowed the team after they tested multiple actresses.
