Josh Bowman to play Jack the Ripper in Time After Time

February 19, 2016 by Amie Cranswick

Yesterday it was announced that Freddie Stroma (UnReal) is set to play H.G. Wells in the upcoming TV adaptation of Time After Time, and now it is being reported that Josh Bowman (Revenge) is set to play his nemesis Jack the Ripper.

Based upon Karl Alexander’s 1979 novel and the movie adaptation, Time After Time centres on the adventures of a young H.G. Wells. When surgeon John Stevenson, a.k.a. Jack the Ripper, steals Wells’ Time Machine, Wells pursues him to the present in order to bring him to justice.

Time After Time is being adapted by Kevin Williamson, screenwriter of Scream and creator of Dawson’s Creek, The Vampire Diaries and The Following.
