Metrograph Pictures has released a poster and trailer for writer-director Jérémy Clapin’s French sci-fi drama Meanwhile on Earth.
The film centres on Elsa (Megan Northam), a young woman struggling with the loss of her brother Franck, an astronaut who vanished during his first space mission, until one evening she receives an unexpected message from him and an unseen force who claims they can return him.

While stargazing one night, Elsa is shocked to receive contact from Franck, but her joy is short-lived when she learns of the dark and troubling forces behind Franck’s reappearance, forcing her to confront the lengths she will go for the brother she once feared was gone forever.
Meanwhile on Earth arrives in cinemas on September 13th.
