The M3GAN spin-off SOULM8TE has cast The Boys alum Claudia Doumit for the next installment of Blumhouse and Atomic Monster’s horror franchise.
SOULM8TE stars Lily Sullivan (Evil Dead Rise) and David Rysdahl (Fargo) with Doumit. The spin-off will see “a man (Rysdahl) acquire an Artificially Intelligent android (Sullivan) to help him cope with the recent loss of his deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, the man inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate.”
The film will be directed by Kate Dolan (You Are Not My Mother) with her having written an original draft after Rafael Jordan’s based off a story by Jordan, James Wan and Ingrid Bisu. Wan is producing through Atomic Monster with Jason Blum producing through Blumhouse. Executive producing is Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Judson Scott alongside Ingrid Bisu with Alayna Glasthal overseeing the project for Atomic Monster.

M3GAN was a huge hit at its 2023 release and garnered so much support and praise a sequel was quickly put into development with M3GAN 2.0 set for release next year. SOULM8TE, meanwhile, is scheduled for 2026.
