First DLC now available for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles

August 31, 2024 by Andrew Newton

The first DLC is now available for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles and is available on all platforms.  This new DLC, titled ‘A Strange Fate‘ takes players on a brand-new adventure as Sumire, a new character created under the supervision of Fuse, the original author of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.  A new trailer for the DLC can be seen below and gives us a peek at this new character to become part of Rimuru’s great story.

In this thrilling new adventure rather than playing as Rimuru Tempest, players take on the role of Sumire, as she sets out on a quest to find her childhood friend Hinata – Captain of the Western Holy Church’s Crusaders.  What perils will she encounter on her mission to find her friend?

In addition to the new quest, ‘A Strange Fate’ will introduce Hinata as a new playable character (which will be great news for fans of the anime), 10 new side quests that will allow players to explore more of Rimuru’s world, and 7 different building types, allowing players to expand the great nation of Tempest.

This brand-new DLC is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, as part of the Season Pass and also available as a standalone purchase for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
