Gothic horror The Monster Beneath Us unveils trailer and poster

Ahead of its U.S. release next month, a poster and trailer have arrived online for the British gothic horror The Monster Beneath Us.

Written and directed by Sophie Osbourne and starring Becca Hirani, Marshall Hawkes and Nicola Wright, the film centres on a woman and her young son as they move into the country manor of her husband following his death, where the boy claims to make a new friend living in the basement. Yorkshire, 1898. A grieving woman and her son move back to the unoccupied house of her ex husband, recently found dead, but they discover that they are not alone inside the house.

The Monster Beneath Us is set for release on January 3rd.
