Back in September it was revealed that Dimension Television was developing a small screen adaptation of Stephen King’s 1980 tale The Mist, which was previously brought to the big screen by Frank Darabont back in 2007.
Well, the project has now received a pilot order from Spike TV, with network executive Sharon Levy stating that the project will become “a compelling series unlike anything else on television.”
The Mist is being executive produced by Christian Torpe, writer and producer on Denmark’s Rita.
