Become darkness incarnate for free with Lords of Ravage: Dread Knights on Steam

January 14, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Developer 101XP has announced that Lords of Ravage: Dread Knights, a free prologue for Lords of Ravage, is available to download on Steam now.  This prologue for the upcoming tactical RPG with roguelike elements will put players in the villain’s shoes and allow them to go full-on evil with crushing heroes and pillaging villages.  Watch the new trailer below….

Dread Knights follows the story of one of the titular Lords of Ravage, Berold – Leader of the Knights of Terror.  The current ruler of the kingdom is a weak-willed king that Berold has lost all patience with and is determined to take control of his own destiny.  Players will lead an army of minions and use strategy, magic, cunning schemes and more to seize power from the king.

The prologue will allow players to learn the story of the game, follow Berold on his quest and understand the importance of the search for a mysterious and powerful artefact.

The prologue will feature:

  • A fully explorable region consisting of 20 locations filled with mystery, loot and enemies.
  • Nine minion types from the Dark Alliance and Mercenary Guild factions to lead in battle. Each with their own abilities and weaknesses.
  • Tactical turn-based combat with 17 orders that can be used in battle to gain the advantage.
  • 10 collectable artefacts that can enhance the army.
  • Fight 15 different enemies with their own unique mechanics.

Lords of Ravage: Dread Knights is available to download for free now from Steam, with the full game releasing later in the year.
