Psychological horror Chorus of Carcosa arrives on Steam

March 21, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Chameleon 42 has released their new psychological horror game, Chorus of Carcosa, on Steam.  Inspired by the classic horror fiction of ‘The King in Yellow’ collection by R. W. Chambers, players will face a dangerous mystery when a blood-soaked neighbour knocks on their door.  A new launch trailer celebrating the release can be seen below….

In this new psychological horror, players take the role of a sculptor whose quiet night is ruined when a blood-soaked neighbour knocks at their door.  As the apartment building begins to change and a twisted realm fills the space around him, the building becomes filled with mysteries and dangers and something unnatural whispers.

Players must navigate a decaying apartment complex, avoid the fear and paranoia, search for answers to the mystery of Carcosa’s terrifying truth and escape this nightmare.  Will you be able to determine what is real and what is an illusion in this twisted realm?

Chorus of Carcosa features:

  • A psychological horror experience with near-endless tension.
  • Three hours of intense horror thriller gameplay.
  • Simple stealth mechanics.
  • Escape from monsters and solve a variety of puzzles.
  • Immersive graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5.
  • Steam Deck compatible.

Chorus of Carcosa is available on Steam now.
