Players can now check in to The Cecil: The Journey Begins on Steam as Genie Interactive Games announce the launch of their psychological horror based on the infamous Los Angeles hotel. This new psychological horror takes players to this hotel but will they be able to check out? However, what you can check out is the brand-new launch trailer below….
The Cecil: The Journey Begins puts players in the role of John, a young man on a romantic getaway with his wife Sarah. Unfortunately for John, they chose the wrong hotel and it isn’t long before John wakes up in a dark cell and Sarah, gone. Players will have to search through the decaying halls of the hotel, solving twisted puzzles, interacting with other, incomprehensible guests and facing the unspeakable horrors that roam the hotel. Survive the nightmarish creatures, find Sarah and discover if escape is possible.
This eerie psychological horror includes:
- First-person action through dark hallways and decaying rooms.
- Creepy and unnatural enemies lurking around every corner.
- Fight enemies in shooter-style battles, explore eerie rooms and use a variety of objects to aid escape.
- Solve fast-paced puzzles, collect items and discover new areas.
