Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge are back on the case as Enola Holmes 3 begins production

April 23, 2025 by Ricky Church

Production has begun on the third Enola Holmes film with Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge reprising their roles as Netflix shared a photo of the pair behind the scenes from the film’s set.

We also have our first idea of Enola’s next case as she leaves the UK for a mystery in Malta. The official synopsis reads: “Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide in a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”

Brown and Partridge will reunite with Henry Cavill as Enola’s older and famous brother Sherlock, Helena Bonham Carter as their mother Eudoria and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as their nemesis Moriarty. Also joining the film is Himesh Patel as Sherlock’s faithful friend and partner Dr. John Watson after his introduction in Enola Holmes 2‘s post-credits scene.

Enola Holmes 3 will be directed by Adolescence‘s Philip Barantini with a script written by Jack Thorne, returning after having written the previous two films. The series is based on the The Enola Holmes Mysteries novels by Nancy Springer.

Enola Holmes 3 will be produced by Legendary Entertainment’s Mary Parent, Ali Mendes and Alex Garcia with Millie Bobby Brown and Bobby Brown producing for Brown’s production company PCMA Productions.
