Netflix has shared a poster and trailer for the South Korean action thriller series Mercy for None.
Based on the webtoon Plaza Wars, the series centres on a former gangster who returns to the criminal underworld after a decade, setting out on a relentless path of revenge to uncover the truth surrounding his brother’s death.
The cast includes So Ji-sub, Huh Joon-ho, Gong Myoung, Choo Young Woo, An Kil-kang, Tiger Lee, Cho Han-cheul, Cha Seung Won and Lee Jun-hyuk. Check out the trailer below…
“The series follows Ki-jun (So Ji-sub), a former underworld figure who severed his own Achilles tendon to leave that life behind 11 years ago. When his brother Ki-seok (Lee Jun-hyuk), once the second-in-command of their organization, is found dead, Ki-jun returns to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death.”
Mercy for None arrives on Netflix on June 6th.
