Marvel Studios has shared a behind-the-scenes featurette for their next MCU Disney+ series Ironheart, which sees Executive Producer Ryan Coogler (Sinners) and star Dominique Thorne (Wakanda Forever) speaking effusively about bringing the character to the small-screen.
Written by Chinaka Hodge (The Midnight Club), Ironheart also stars Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. The full trailer arrives tomorrow, so until then take a look at the poster and featurette below…
“Set after the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, Marvel Television’s “Ironheart” pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne)—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos).”
Ironheart’s 3-episode premiere streams on Disney+ from June 24th.
