Indie slasher The Boatyard gets a trailer

May 16, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its digital release this September, Reel2Reel Films has shared a trailer  for director Dale Stelly’s indie slasher horror The Boatyard.

The film sees five college students seek the help of a seemingly kind stranger who offers to tow them to his boatyard after they breakdown in the middle of the ocean, but they find themselves fighting for their lives when their psychopathic saviour and his band of homicidal maniacs use them as prey.

After a wild day of partying, five college students find themselves stranded in the middle of the ocean when their boat mysteriously breaks down. To their luck, a stranger (Ferguson) emerges from the shadows offering to take the young partygoers back to the boatyard where he can fix up their boat.

Little do they know their knight in shining armour harbours a fiendish hunger for murder, and they’ve unwittingly become his next victims…

One by one the group are picked off and subjected to unimaginable evil, as this psycho killer and his band of merry murderers seek to tease and torture their prey, unveiling new terrifying and torturous methods for each teen.

The Boatyard arrives on digital on September 22nd.
