I Watched Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning So You Don’t Have To

May 24, 2025 by EJ Moreno

EJ Moreno with his thoughts on the latest Mission: Impossible…

Join me for a scathing look at Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning. With an admiration for the last film, and for Tom Cruise, the film should be easy to praise, but it barely reaches its potential. To quote the infamous Family Guy clip, ” It insists on itself.”

After a self-congratulatory first hour, you’re left with action as hollow as a stunt show at a theme park. It looks great and brings out the “wow-factor,” but offers little weight and emotion. In the video, see exactly why The Final Reckoning is one of the most disappointing blockbusters of the year.
