Sundance Audience Award winner East of Wall unveils trailer and poster

June 12, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Sony Pictures Classics has released a poster and trailer for East of Wall, the 2025 Sundance Audience Award winner from writer-director Kate Beecroft.

The drama centres on Tabatha (Tabatha Zimiga), a young rancher struggling financial insecurity and unresolved grief as she tries to deal with her own problems while taking care of the wayward neighborhood teens.

Along with Tabatha Zimiga, the cast also includes Porshia Zimiga, Scoot McNairy, and Jennifer Ehle; check out the trailer below…

EAST OF WALL is an authentic portrait of female resilience in the ”New West” inspired and played by the women and girls who live it. Set in the Badlands of South Dakota, Tabatha, a young, rebellious rancher, who rescues and resells horses, must make hard decisions to deal with her fractured family, financial uncertainty, and unresolved grief, all while providing refuge for a group of wayward neighborhood teens.

East of Wall arrives in cinemas on August 15th.
