Head into the Grid with the arrival of TRON: Catalyst

June 18, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Bithell Games and publisher Big Fan’s isometric, action-packed TRON: Catalyst is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Set within the digital world of Disney’s TRON, players will experience an engrossing storyline, time-looping game mechanics and dynamic combat. The new launch trailer showcases this digital world and introduces us to Exo, the uniquely powered program; watch it below…

In TRON: Catalyst, take on the role of Exo, a simple courier program whose life changes course dramatically when a mysterious parcel she has been charged with suddenly explodes. This explosion causes huge changes and grants her exceptional powers far in advance of a program’s normal function. Players will need to uncover the mysteries of the grid before the Arq Grid’s ruthless ‘Peacekeepers’ can get hold of her.

Players will explore the neon-accented streets of the crumbling Arq Grid to uncover it’s secrets, navigate the warring factions and encounter the most powerful programs. There will be opportunities to journey the rain-slicked streets on foot or via the iconic light-cycle. It’s up to players to become the hero the grid needs.

Featuring:

  • Exploit Exo’s Glitch time-rewinding abilities and learn from mistakes made.
  • Engage legions of enemies on foot in iconic TRON battles with Discs and more.
  • Gain access to Data Shards and upgrade Exo’s code base for a variety of new abilities.
  • A captivating TRON storyline that sees players uncover the unexplained ‘Glitch’ that threatens the Grid.
  • Explore the Arq Grid to an electronic soundtrack.

TRON: Catalyst is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
