Meet the Parents 4 will see the return of another original cast member as The Hollywood Reporter has announced Owen Wilson will reprise his role from the three previous films.
Wilson joins original stars Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner with series co-writer John Hamburg directing and writing the new installment. Wilson played Kevin Rawley, the ex-fiancé to Polo’s Pam who both of her parents loved and viewed very positively compared to Stiller’s Greg Focker.
THR also revealed the first details of the film’s plot. While the story is being kept under wraps, part of it will focus on Greg and Pam’s son “who gets engaged to a ball-busting woman who seems all wrong for him.” The recently cast Ariana Grande will play the fiancée and potential daughter-in-law to the Fockers.
Meet The Parents 4 will be produced by Hamburg through Particular Pictures and De Niro and Jane Rosenthal for Tribeca Pictures. Stiller and John Lesher will also produce for Red Hour Films while original Meet The Parents director Jay Roach will produce for Delirious Media.
Meet The Parents 4 will be released on November 25th, 2026.
