Outlander: Blood of My Blood gets new trailer and images

July 11, 2025 by Ricky Church

Starz has released the official trailer and a batch of new photos for the upcoming prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood. Check out the trailer and images below…

Outlander: Blood of My Blood follows two love stories as it focuses on the parents of Claire and Jamie Fraser, tackling dual narratives set in 1700s Scotland and WWI-era England. However, in a twist as the trailer shows us, Claire’s parents Julia and Henry also find their way travelling back in time and are separated, where Julia meet’s Ellen MacKenzie, Jamie’s mother, and helps her get to her true love Brian Fraser while Henry searches for Julia.

The prequel series has already been renewed for a second season while the mothership Outlander wrapped production on its final season last year and will likely premiere early 2026.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood introduces viewers to two new couples —Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) —who fight against all odds to be together as their love stories unfold across time. From the battlefields of World War I to the rugged Highlands of 18th century Scotland, two fated love stories must defy the forces that seek to tear them apart, intersecting in surprising and unforeseen ways.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood stars Harriet Slater, Jamie Roy, Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Rory Alexander, Sam Retford, Séamus McLean Ross, Conor MacNeill, Brian McCardie, Jhon Lumsden, Sara Vickers, Peter Mullan, Sally Messham, Terence Rae, Sadhbh Malin, Ailsa Davidson, Annabelle Dowler and Harry Eaton.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood will premiere on August 8th.
