The anticipated sequel to The Devil Wears Prada has added two new members to its cast while Anne Hathaway has shared the first look at Andy Sachs’ return.
Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Patrick Brammall (Evil) have been announced as joining the cast, which includes the returning Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman along with new additions Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk), Simone Ashley (Bridgerton), Lucy Liu (Charlie’s Angels), Justin Theroux (Bettlejuice Beetlejuice), B.J. Novak (The Office), Pauline Chalamet (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Broadway star Helen J. Shen, Conrad Ricamora (How to Die Alone), and comedian Caleb Hearon.
Hathaway, meanwhile, shared two posts on Instagram showing her in costume as Andy along with a short video announcing production on the film has begun. With the photo, she wrote “Andy Sachs 2025” with Andy’s updated sense of fashion 20 years after the first film. You can view the photo and video below…

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will focus on Miranda Priestly (Streep) as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing. She faces off against Emily (Blunt), her one-time assistant who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group, with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is being directed by the original’s David Frenkel from a script by original screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be released on May 1st, 2026.
