A Quiet Place Part III sets 2027 release date, with John Krasinski returning as writer-director

August 2, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

John Krasinski is set to return to the world he steered towards over $600 million at the global box-office by producing, writing, and directing A Quiet Place Part III.

There were no cast announcements, so we have no idea whether Krasinski will return to the offshore island on which he left Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds in the company of Cillian Murphy at the end of A Quiet Place Part II.

The previous entry, A Quiet Place: Day One was written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), based on a story he conceived with John Krasinski. Released in 2024, the film added $260 million to Paramount’s Quiet Place coffers.

The studio also announced that A Quiet Place Part III will be in cinemas on on July 9, 2027.

Let us know whether you’re whispering excitedly about Krasinski’s return to the director’s chair by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
