World War Z VR launches on Meta Quest and SteamVR

August 13, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Saber Interactive’s World War Z VR is out now on Meta Quest and Steam VR, allowing players to experience the intense action of the immersive FPS based on the blockbuster Paramount Pictures film.  Players can take on overwhelming hordes of rampaging zombies for just £14.99 | €19.99 | $19.99.  Watch the new launch trailer below to see the intense action.

World War Z VR brings the nonstop action and excitement of the franchise to life like never before. Players will take on an iconic swarm of up to 200 zombies with a variety of weapons across three expansive, real-world locations: New York, Tokyo, and Marseille. Play as one of seven characters and leap into combat with a pre-selected AI squad.

Survive epic challenges by adapting the playstyle with a variety of characters, weapons, perks and difficulty settings. Be aware that as the changes are made to the environment and playstyle, the zombies will adapt to hunt players down. There are also special infected enemies that can create problems that players must adapt to.

World War Z VR features:

  • Epic swarms of 200 zombies at any one time.
  • Expansive levels in real-world locations.
  • 7 playable characters to choose from.
  • A wide variety of weapons and perks.

Players can purchase World War Z VR on Meta Quest and SteamVR now.
