As filming continues on Sony and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Variety is reporting that Severance star Tramell Tillman has become the latest addition to the cast of Tom Holland’s fourth Spidey solo outing.
Tillman is best known for his Emmy-nominated role as Seth Milchick in Apple TV+’s hit series, while his other credits include Godfather of Harlem, Hunters, and Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Details on his role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day are being kept under wraps, with fan speculation linking him to everyone from villains like Norman Osborn/Green Goblin and Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone to Jefferson Davis, the father of Miles Morales.
In addition to the Tramell Tillman casting news, it is also being rumoured that Black Widow and Thunderbolts* star Florence Pugh will be making an appearance in the film as Yelena Belova, although that is yet to be confirmed by any official sources.
What we do know about the cast however is that Tillman will be joining Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man along with returning co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon as MJ and Ned, while Michael Mando reprises his Spider-Man: Homecoming role as Scorpion and Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo add some MCU weight as The Punisher and The Hulk. Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink has also been cast in an as-yet-undisclosed role, as has The Bear’s Liza Colon-Zayas.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and is slated for release on July 31st 2026.
