Pacific Drive unveils Whispers in the Wood DLC

September 10, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Ironwood Studios and publisher Kepler Interactive have revealed they will be releasing the Whispers in the Woods DLC for their acclaimed driving survival adventure Pacific Drive later this year on PC and PlayStation 5. This new DLC will bring a new terrifying story to players who enter the Olympic Exclusion Zone. You can watch the Whispers in the Woods Reveal Trailer below…

This new, terrifying expansion brings a new spooky tale for players and their trusty station wagon as a group of Anomaly-obsessed fanatics enter the Olympic Exclusion Zone’s forests. The woods of the zone are dark and mysterious; now they are filled with new dangers and mysteries. Now home to fanatics, these woods have been marked with strange symbols and effigies. Players will be able to learn the ways of this new, fanatical group by interacting with their sacred alters that are scattered throughout the woods.

Players will be able to discover brand-new junction types, anomalies and anomaly behaviours as they venture deeper into this unknown part of the Zone. There are also Artifacts to be uncovered that will add bizarre effects to gameplay, and new parts to attach to the trusty station wagon.

Look out for the Whispers in the Woods DLC arriving for Pacific Drive later this year for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
