Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again renewed for third season

September 19, 2025 by Ricky Church

The Devil is staying in Hell’s Kitchen as showrunner Dario Scardapene announced Daredevil: Born Again has officially been renewed for a third season.

Daredevil: Born Again is a continuation of Netflix’s Daredevil series featuring Charlie Cox reprising his role as the Man Without Fear. He stars opposite Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin, who in season one became the mayor of New York City on a campaign to outlaw masked vigilantes. By the end of the season, Fisk and his anti-hero task force made up of corrupt cops effectively control New York through their martial law, sending Daredevil and his allies on the run.

The first season also saw Jon Bernthal reprise his fan-favourite role as Frank Castle/The Punisher. He will not only return for season two, but will also star in a Punisher special for Disney+ as well as the anticipated MCU film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Also returning from the Netflix Marvel series will be Krysten Ritter as the superpowered private investigator Jessica Jones, reuniting with Cox since the team-up miniseries The Defenders.

Daredevil: Born Again will return in March 2026. Newcomers to the series include Matthew Lillard, Lili Taylor, Sydney Parra, Annie Parisse and James Armstrong with Camila Rodriguez from the first season. Also returning from Daredevil is Susan Varon as Josie, the owner of her namesake bar where Matt and his friends often frequent, and Royce Johnson as detective Brett Mahoney, one of Daredevil’s closest allies.

In “Daredevil: Born Again,” Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.

Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, Jon Bernthal and Wilson Bethel.
