Toxoplasma trailer teases new space survival horror

October 14, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer SimmeringConcrete has announced they will be bringing their new space horror, Toxoplasma, to Steam for PC. Head into space and uncover the development of a devastating bioweapon capable of wiping out all of mankind. Watch the announcement trailer below….

Toxoplasma (not the parasite that you can catch from cats) is a space horror that takes players to an abandoned space station where they will work towards the development of a terrifying bio-weapon that makes the infected hallucinate demonic entities that torment them until they die.

The Earth is no longer a safe place to live, but neither is the space station, as the chances of contracting the infection while developing the bio-weapon is very possible. It’s up to players to complete the weapon’s development before it can kill them, and also uncover the conspiracy that is driving this apocalypse.

Toxoplasma features:

  • Develop the bio-weapon, but keep an eye out for the demonic hallucinations.
  • Discover the many different endings available, including the secret ending.
  • Every play-through is unique.
  • An ever-present feeling of fear.
  • Learn about the conspiracy behind the end of humanity.
  • Survive the horrors of your own creation.

Look out for more news on this upcoming space horror coming soon.
