Dark Winds season 4 teaser trailer reveals February premiere date

AMC has released the first teaser trailer for the fourth season of its crime drama Dark Winds, starring Zach McClarnon as Lt. Joe Leaphorn in an adaptation of Tony Hillerman’s mystery novels.

Set to premiere on February 15th, 2026, the fourth season will focus on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee and Manuelito from the safety of Navajo Nation to the gritty terrain of 1970s Los Angeles in a race against the clock to save her from an obsessive killer with ties to organized crime.

The series features McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee and Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito. Joining Dark Winds for its upcoming season is Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity) as Irene Vaggan, Isabel DeRoy-Olson (Three Pines) as Billie Tsosie, Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga) as Sonny, Luke Barnett (Tonic) as FBI Agent Toby Shaw and Titus Welliver (Bosch) as Dominic McNair with A. Martinez returning as Chief Gordo Sena.

Dark Winds was created by Graham Nolan with John Wirth serving as showrunner. The late Robert Redford executive produced with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin

Dark Winds season four will premiere on February 15th, 2026.
