Epic Pictures set North American release date for action thriller Lost Horizon

November 6, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Epic Pictures has announced the November North American release for the action thriller Lost Horizon, the lastest offering from Hell Trip and Last Sacrament director Patrick Garcia.

“We’re excited for audiences to discover Lost Horizon, a bold, high-energy action film that delivers everything fans of the genre crave”, says Epic Pictures Group CEO Patrick Ewald. “The film delivers solid thrills, great performances, and the kind of confident filmmaking that reminds you how satisfying a smart action movie can be.”

“In a land still healing from the remnants of war, a team arrives to finish a job,” adds director Patrick Garcia. “But what they discover is that some wounds don’t heal — they open doors. Lost Horizon asks: will you walk through them, or run from them? My mission with this film was to tell the story of a civil war through the eyes of veteran Michael Foster — to explore his internal wounds, the moral debts, and the silent treaties we sign with ourselves.”

The cast includes Tom Fairfoot, Aimee Botes, Kayla Osburn, Lebohang Mzwimbi, Ryan Massie, Llewellyn Cordier, Farai Chigudu, Alonso Grandio, and Joseph Clarke. Check out the trailer, poster and promo images below…

How far would one man go to confront his past and fight for justice in a land torn apart by conflict and corruption? LOST HORIZON is a thrilling tale of betrayal, survival, and redemption set against a backdrop of war and criminal activity. Former soldier Michael Foster (Fairfoot) must rescue a war correspondent from a sinister doctor and later lead a daring operation to save a colonial’s daughter from rebels. As he navigates the dangerous web of poaching and rebellion, Michael uncovers a conspiracy and faces off against ruthless foes in a climatic showdown.

Lost Horizon arrives in select theatres on November 28th, followed by a digital release on December 2nd.
