Tomb Raider series rounds out cast with Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs and more

January 7, 2026 by Ricky Church

Amazon Prime’s upcoming Tomb Raider live-action series has rounded out its cast. Joining Sophie Turner is a large ensemble that includes Sigourney Weaver (Avatar: Fire and Ash) and Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus) in significant roles.

The Tomb Raider series is created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge which will see Turner take on the iconic role of Lara Croft in the latest installment of the popular video game franchise brought to life. Weaver will play Evelyn Wallis, “a mysterious, high-flying woman who is keen to exploit Lara’s talents” while Isaacs is Atlas de Mornay, Lara’s uncle from her mother’s side of the family and the executor of the Croft estate.

Filling out the rest of the cast is Martin Bobb-Semple (One Of Us Is Lying) as Lara’s techy ally Zip, Bill Paterson (House of the Dragon) as Lara’s butler Winston, Jack Bannon (Pennyworth) as Gerry, John Heffernan (A Gentleman in Moscow) as David, Celia Imrie (The Thursday Murder Club) as Francine as well as Paterson Joseph (Wonka), Sasha Luss (Anna), Juliette Motamed (Magic Mike’s Last Dance) and August Wittgenstein (The Crown).

“Tomb Raider boasts a plethora of iconic characters,” said Waller-Bridge. “I am thrilled to have been able to bring some personal and fan favourites to the screen while also introducing a few new rascals of our own to the mix. This cast is beyond my wildest dreams.”

Waller-Bridge is writing, executive producing and co-showrunning the series with Chad Hodge serving as executive producer and co-showrunner. Jonathan Van Tulleken (Shōgun) will direct and executive produce.
