NES Jason Voorhees gets the Toony Terrors treatment with new NECA figure

January 12, 2026 by Gary Collinson

With the rights issues surrounding the Friday the 13th franchise finally cleared up and the newly-dubbed Jason Universe merchandising blitz in full swing, NECA has announced that the iconic killer Jason Voorhees is coming to its T0ony Terrors line with a new Retro Jason figure inspired by the cult 1988 Friday the 13th video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Bring the fun of Saturday morning cartoons to your horror collection with these adorably creepy Toony Terrors figures from NECA! This Jason action figure pays homage to his alternative retro appearance in Friday the 13th: The Game. With a stylized cartoon sculpt, this 6-inch scale figure includes an axe accessory and comes in blister card packaging.

Pre-orders for NES Jason Voorhees will open on January 13th 2026.
