Netflix has shared the first trailer for Unchosen, the psychological thriller series from Julie Gearey (Intergalatic).
The series centres on Rosie, a young woman living in the confines of a conservative religious sect with her husband and daughter. But when an escaped prisoner arrives in their community, Rosie becomes aware of the restraints placed upon her, and begins to question her marriage and her life with the cult.
The cast includes Molly Windsor, Asa Butterfield, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran, and Christopher Eccleston. Check out the trailer below…
Rosie lives with her husband Adam and daughter in a cloistered Christian sect. The fateful arrival of escaped prisoner Sam into her life, reveals the reality and restraints of her world; perhaps this hidden religious community doesn’t have her best interests at heart.
