Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is racing onto PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year

March 7, 2026 by Andrew Newton

Wired Productions and developer Caged Element will be releasing Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year. The explosive Ork vehicle combat game, already gaining fans on PC, will bring the explosive action of the WAAAGH! to consoles. Watch the new trailer below….

When Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks launches on console later this year, it will include every update, mode, vehicle and DLC that has been released on PC to date. So players can expect a full range of maps, more weapons than you can shake a Squig at, and all the WAAAGH! path rewards.

In Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, players will take control of a wide variety of Ork-built (or modified) vehicles. From buggies to tanks, and the recently added Deffkoptas, there are plenty of vehicles to satisfy the majority of Freeks. Combine these crazy vehicles with over-the-top weapons, the outrageous Ork sense of humour, and the incredible speed for a unique blend of racing and Orkish destruction.

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks will feature:

  • Multiple game modes, such as Deff Rally, Kill Konvoy and Custom Rally.
  • Environments and vehicles that capture the Warhammer 40,000 feel.
  • Real-Time Co-Op Building and community features.
  • Fast, brutal and cunning combat.
  • A creation mode to build new levels with your friends.
  • Cross-play between all platforms.
  • Extensive customisation options.

Look out for Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks arriving on Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5 later this year.
