It’s Thirteen O’Clock for The Ninth Doctor and Rose in new Doctor Who adventure

April 18, 2026 by Andrew Newton

Regular listeners of the Ninth Doctor’s adventures from Big Finish will notice that the Doctor and Rose Tyler have been pulled back to the Powell Estate many times, with all kinds of events occurring around Rose’s old stomping grounds. In the next full-cast audio drama, Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures – Thirteen O’Clock by Robert Valentine, the pair arrive on the estate once again to find the cause of these disturbances.

The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) and Rose (Billie Piper) arrive back in the Powell Estate to find the area covered in a thick fog and deserted. Most of the residents have vanished, but the sinister Mrs Crook guards the ominous Flat 13. The Doctor has a suspicion that a dreadful and malevolent power has returned, and if his suspicions are correct, the pair will have a right battle on their hands.

The pair won’t be heading into this battle alone, as young monster hunter Saffron Windrose (Indigo Griffiths), whom the Doctor encountered in the 2022 story Station to Station, has come to the estate in search of the Doctor.
