Prime Video has released the first images for Kill Jackie, the upcoming revenge thriller series based on Nick Harkaway’s novel The Price You Pay, which stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as a woman enjoying travelling the world while trying to outrun her past as a drug smuggler, until her luxurious lifestyle is thrown upside down when a squad of hitmen try to take her out.
Joining Zeta-Jones in the cast is Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), Óscar Jaenada (Rambo V), Hattie Hook (Of An Age), Darci Shaw (A Thousand Blows), Raff Law (Masters of The Air), Enzo Cilenti (The Crown), Christine Adams (Malice), Julian Rhind-Tutt (Napoleon), Karlis Arnolds Avots (Lovable), Set Sjöstrand (The Wheel of Time), Tadashi Ito (Society of the Snow), Sebastian Armesto (Gangs of London), Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh), Gavin Spokes (Slow Horses), Jonathan Cake (Camping), Bamshad Abedi-Amin (A Town Called Malice), Bill Paterson (Fleabag) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy).
Jackie Price (Zeta-Jones) has been living a luxurious existence for the last twenty years – travelling the world, selling fine art and, above all, trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international drug smuggler. But just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Assuming someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a wild, dangerous game plan: to take down The Demons one by one before they kill her. However, she soon realises her own demons are much more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail…and her buried secrets lead her closer to home, with surprising consequences.
