Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton return as the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa in The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Shock and Awe, a new full-cast Doctor Who audio drama box set from Big Finish Productions. This new box set features two brand-new audio adventures that will take the pair of time travellers from a Devonshire town to a distant planet where the inhabitants worship an enormous creature.
The first of the two new adventures with the Doctor and Nyssa is the four-part Lair of the Voltaxa by Roland Moore. When the duo arrive in Devon for a spot of relaxation, the peace is shattered when they hear reports of a car coming to life and attacking someone. The Doctor believes there’s a connection to the ‘Miri Cube’, a device soon to be released throughout the UK and containing advanced technology. However, the device is all part of an alien plan for conquest. Will the Doctor uncover the aliens’ plans before it’s too late?

March of the Colossus, a two-part story by Alan Ronald, the Doctor and Nyssa arrive on a beautiful, unspoiled world and encounter a primitive tribe that believes a giant being will descend from the sky to protect them. As it turns out, a ruthless off-worlder has discovered the Colossus is real and will stop at nothing to exploit it.
This adventure stars Ken Bones as Senidon, Stuart Milligan as Austus Zebeck/Zebots, Sulin Hasso as Arimyne, and Samuel Clemens as Drendar/Garrus/Colossi.
