Another week, another Guy Ritchie movie to announce. This one’s slightly more exciting in that it once again reunites the director with his Lock Stock and Snatch star Jason Statham.

According to The Hollywood Reporter they will team up for Ritchie’s Netflix movie Dogfight, which is described by the streaming giants as “a stylish revenge actioner set in the London criminal underworld.”
Amazingly, Dogfight is also written by the Aladdin director, who managed to find the time put the screenplay together whilst also finishing The Gentleman for Netflix, making Mobland for Paramount+, Young Sherlock for Amazon Prime Video, and doing post on Wife & Dog and his long-gestating Viva La Madness.
Dogfight will be the duo’s seventh collaboration following Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch (2000), Revolver (2005), Wrath of Man (2021), Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023), and the currently in post-production Viva La Madness.
The next time we’ll see Jason Statham he’ll be smoking out more bad guys in The Beekeeper 2, while you’ll probably only have to wait a few days before the next Guy Ritchie project is announced.
