Jon M. Chu to return for Now You See Me 3

April 18, 2016 by Scott J. Davis

With Now You See Me 2 soon to arrive in cinemas, Lionsgate has wasted no time in preparing for the third installment, according to Variety.

In what may be considered a bold move before the second film has even been released, the studio has set the sequel’s director John M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) to return for the third outing. Lionsgate is obviously confident in equaling and potentially bettering the performance of the 2013 original, which went on to gross $350 million at the worldwide box office.
