Warner Bros. bringing Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman to Comic-Con, but no Justice League?

July 12, 2016 by Gary Collinson

With the San Diego Comic-Con fast approaching, Warner Bros. has announced details of the DC Films portion of its Hall H panel, with the studio revealing that it is set to showcase August’s Suicide Squad, in addition to next year’s Wonder Woman.

Writer-director David Ayer will take part in the Suicide Squad panel alongside Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach and Karen Fukuhara, while Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Connie Nielsen will join director Patty Jenkins for the Wonder Woman portion of the presentation.

Absent from the official announcement is Zack Snyder’s big ensemble Justice League, which is currently filming in London; however, Ben Affleck has previously revealed that he’ll be in attendance in San Diego, so it looks like Warner Bros. could be keeping the big ensemble a “surprise”.

Warner Bros. will be showcasing one other DC-related property, with director Will McKay and star Will Arnett on hand for The LEGO Batman Movie.

Warner Bros.’ Comic-Con panel will take place on Saturday, July 23rd and of course we’ll be bringing you full coverage here at Flickering Myth.
