YouTube and Blumhouse launching 12 Deadly Days horror-comedy series

December 8, 2016 by Gary Collinson

YouTube Red and Blumhouse Television are set to spread some holiday horror this month with 12 Deadly Days, an interconnected horror-comedy anthology series which is set to begin streaming this coming Monday, December 12th.

THR reports that the series “will tell 12 interconnected stories about the residents of Saturn, Calif., who find themselves terrorized by killer carolers and cursed fruitcakes in the days leading up to Christmas.”

“We’re honored to be working with Blumhouse, the masters of horror, as we move into more genre programming for YouTube Red, and were excited to pair them with 12 of the best actor-creators on YouTube for 12 Deadly Days,” said YouTube Originals head of scripted programming Tim Shey. “Viewers are going to be blown away by the storytelling, performances and dark humor of this series, which is like nothing else out right now.”

12 Deadly Days features a cast that includes Betty Gabriel, Kaitlin Doubleday, Dohn Norwood, Tom Lenk, Anna Akana, Burnie Burns, Brittany Furlan, Meghan Rienks and Alexis Zall.
