Usain Bolt wants to appear alongside the Scarlet Speedster in The Flash movie

January 4, 2017 by Justin Cook

Usain Bolt, the fastest man alive, is looking to give the Scarlet Speedster a run for his money.

During a recent interview with MTV International to promote his upcoming documentary I Am Bolt, the nine-time Olympic gold medalist was asked if he’d be up for appearing in a superhero movie, to which he quickly answered with a “yes.” In particular, Bolt has his sights set on DC’s 2018 film The Flash, saying: “That’d be pretty cool. That’d be really cool, maybe do a cameo in Flash or something.”

Superhero movies have never been known to skimp on cameos (Stan Lee appears in every Marvel movie, Ezra Miller’s Flash appeared in Suicide Squad, etc.), so a Bolt cameo in The Flash could actually work really well. There’s a lot to be worried about with the film, between its revolving door of directors and general turbulence at DC, but it would be hard to screw up a cameo from the closest thing the world has to a real-life superhero.

After hitting theaters in a few select territories last year, I Am Bolt is now available for rental in the US and UK. According to the majority of critics, the Benjamin and Gabe Turner-directed documentary is solid, engrossing entertainment and definitely worth checking out.
