Thomas Lennon to play Leo Getz in Lethal Weapon TV series

January 15, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Leo Getz is going to be annoying Riggs and Murtaugh once again, with Entertainment Weekly reporting that Thomas Lennon (The Odd Couple) has signed on to guest star as the character in the February 15th episode.

Leo Getz was played by Joe Pesci in the Lethal Weapon films, making his debut in the second movie. In the TV show, he will be portrayed as an “ambulance-chasing lawyer who looks to squeeze every drop out of each petty crime.”

Lethal Weapon airs on Wednesday on Fox, and stars Clayton Crawford and Damon Wayans in the Mel Gibson and Danny Glover roles of Riggs and Murtaugh.
