Ben Affleck says The Batman is coming along great and fans will love it

January 16, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Ben Affleck has once again found himself speaking out on production regarding The Batman, rather than the currently released Live by Night, a.k.a. the reason he is taking on all of these interviews in the first place.

In the span of a week, Ben Affleck has given multiple answers on the subject ranging from hesitance to continue directing the large-scale blockbuster, to the complete polar opposite confirming that he is still on board.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in the following video, Affleck does show signs of frustration, citing that constantly being pestered about The Batman when doing the rounds for Live by Night is “a pain in the ass”. In his defense, it can’t be uplifting having your current passion work ignored in favor of talking about the next big tentpole release.

However, he does go on to assure fans that the project is coming along nicely, that something special will be created, and that fans will love The Batman.

We feel for you, @BenAffleck– and that sounds absolutely perfect. Take all the time in the world you need to get the #Batman movie right! pic.twitter.com/2X33gEDi64
