Anne Hathaway joins Rebel Wilson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake Nasty Women

January 22, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in August of last year it was announced that Rebel Wilson had signed on to MGM’s remake of the 1988 Steve Martin/Michael Caine comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and now THR is reporting that she will joined in the cast by Anne Hathway.

The remake, titled Nasty Women, has been written by Jac Schaeffer (The Shower), and “will feature two women from different walks of life teaming up to con a tech prodigy out of his money.” Production is slated to get underway later this year, with Wilson serving as a producer as well as starring.

Anne Hathaway will next be seen in the sci-fi thriller Colossal [watch the trailer here], and has recently completed production on the all-female Ocean’s Eleven spinoff/sequel Ocean’s Eight.
