Rumour: Sources who have seen Wonder Woman and Justice League are saying “good things” about them

January 23, 2017 by admin

Well this is a turn of events. Just last week a report came out that Wonder Woman was “very disjointed” (which followed a report last year that called it “a mess”), and there hasn’t been a lot of positive press about Justice League either. But a new report is suggesting something entirely different.

The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez (better known as El Mayimbe) is currently at Sundance and tweeted that he bumped into his sources who are saying positive things about both Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Also, of all places, ran into 2 different sources here at Sundance, 1 saw WW 1st cut, the other JL. They tell me good things about each.😀

Interesting to hear something positive about the films, but one has to question Gonzalez’s track record as of late. His ‘scoop’ that Deadpool would feature in Logan was shot down by everyone involved in the movie, and his Green Lantern Corps casting rumours have already been denied by one of the actors.

Wonder Woman will hit cinemas on June 2nd, 2017 with a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead).

Justice League will reunite Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Vulko, Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Iris West, Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf and Julian Lewis Jones (Stella) in an as-yet-unrevealed role. It is set for release on November 17th 2017.
