Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey seems keen on playing Catwoman

February 11, 2017 by Gary Collinson

A few days ago The Magnificent Seven and The Girl on the Train’s Haley Bennett sparked speculation that she could be in line to join Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn as Catwoman in Gotham City Sirens with some posts on social media, and now Game of Thrones star Lena Headey has seemingly expressed her interest in swapping Westeros for the DC Extended Universe with a post on Twitter…

Headey, who will return as Queen Cersei in Game of Thrones season seven this summer, does has previous comic book movie experience with her roles in 300 and Dredd, and while she’s probably a little older than most would expect for Selina Kyle, it would make sense seeing as the DCEU has already opted for an older Batman in Ben Affleck.

Gotham City Sirens is set to reunite Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie with director David Ayer, and is thought to see Harley Quinn teaming up with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. As yet, there’s be no concrete word on any casting, although Megan Fox has been rumoured for the role of Pamela Isley.

Would you like to see Lena Headey as Catwoman? If not, who’s your pick for the role? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
