Titan publishing The Death of Stalin to coincide with Armando Iannucci movie

February 19, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Titan Comcis has announced that it is set to bring Fabien Nury and Thierry Robin’s acclaimed graphic novel The Death of Stalin to a brand new audience this year, to coincide with the release of the upcoming Armando Iannucci movie.

The Death of Stalin is the story of a dictatorship plunged into madness. And it’s all based on truth. Joseph Stalin, the “Father of the People,” the man who reigned in absolute power over the people of Russia, had a stroke in the middle of the night on March 2nd 1953. He was declared dead two days later. Two days of fierce competition for the supreme power, two days that encapsulated all the insanity, the perversity and the inhumanity of totalitarianism.

The Death of Stalin is set to hit comic shops and bookstores in the Fall. The movie is also slated to arrive later this year, and features an all-star cast that includes Jason Isaacs, Steve Buscemi, Andrea Riseborough, Olga Kurylenko, Paddy Considine , Simon Russell Beale, Rupert Friend, Michael Palin and Jeffrey Tambor.
